Phase One: Defining the Project
The first phase of the core process covers gathering and analyzing information from the client. We would identify the scope and the direction of the project before kicking off. We will ask alot of questions from the client to determine the direction, scope and size of the project.
At the end of this phase, we will have a deep understanding of the project from budget to maintaining the site in future. This is the most important phase of the whole project - every move we make defines the entire outcome of the site.
Phase Two: Developing Site Structure
In this phase, we will determine the site structure with the client. This is like the bird’s eye view of the whole site being planned out. Finalized content from clients are being organized site map will be drafted to see how the content will flow.
Phase Three: Designing Visuals
This is the phase where the production of mockups take place. At this stage, all design elements, look and feel are created based on the design brief set on the first phase of defining the project. The mockups are then sent for client’s approval & refinements.
Phase Four: Build, Launch & Maintain
This phase is where we put together all the pieces and make them work. After all mockups are approved, we proceed to HTML/CSS or Flash production. The completed site will then be uploaded to our beta site for user testing phase. This is the time when we conduct our QA (quality assurance). We identify bugs, prioritize the fixes and fix them.
When testing is done, launch is imminent. But thats not the end of our job, we will always keep the site in top shape when maintenance is required from the client. While we are already thinking ahead of designing a usable , functional and scalable website on all our projects, maintaining websites are as easy as our fingertips!
